Glossary: Inbox, Integration, Routing, Delivery, Replay

Shared vocabulary used across MailHook documentation and dashboard UI.

Inbox

A generated email address token that receives inbound messages.

Integration

A configured destination (webhook, Telegram, Push, Trello, WhatsApp, etc.) that receives routed events.

Routing

A rule connecting one inbox to one integration. Routings can include status and execution constraints.

Message

A normalized record of an inbound email stored with metadata and raw payload pointer.

Delivery

An attempt to send a message to an integration. Delivery includes state, attempt count, and response metadata.

Replay

A controlled re-dispatch of a previously received message to run routing and delivery again.

Subscription status

Billing state used to gate feature access (for example active, on_trial, trialing).
